ATC/ATS signalling equipment of the Shijiazhuang-Taiyuan Dedicated Passenger
Line.
This project is being carried out for the Chinese Ministry Of Railways and
regards the supply and configuration of ATC/ATS signalling equipment (length
190 km) and takes benefits of Ansaldo STS France experience accumulated for
more than 20 years in China.
This project includes the study, supply, installation and commissioning
of:
- signalling equipment,
- integrated interlocking (SEI) and ATC,
- maintenance aid equipment,
- support to installation, testing and commissioning.
The system provided by Ansaldo STS France is designed around the integrated
interlocking system
SEI and
UM 2000 track circuits already
installed on Qinhuangdao-Shenyang (Qin-Shen) Dedicated Passenger Line and is
customized to Chinese
CTCS standards to implement the control of Balise
Data Unit (BDU).
The system will operate mixed traffic including freight trains and various
passenger trains equipped with
CTCS 2 Chinese standards at over 250 km/h
commercial speed.
The high performance of
UM 2000 track-circuit together with the great
experience of Ansaldo STS France in ballastless tracks allows the line to cross
about 75 km of tunnels and about 50 km of concrete slab.
