Station Management System (SMS).
Execution of a supervision system for each of the 37 Metro stations of the Island line, Kwun Tong line and Tsuen Wan line lines.
First commissioning: July 2000.

The system implemented manages more than 430.000 items of data obtained via PLC's, serial links and a local Ethernet / FDDI network (escalators, lifts, power supply management and video-supervision).
For this project, Ansaldo STS France devised a platform called SMS, which is now used and proposed for all the ‘supervision’ projects.
Due to the use of latest generation processors and software tools, this platform satisfies the most demanding requirements in the field of supervision (adaptability, ergonomics, security, progressive, availability, capacity, rapidity, reduction of cost and implementation time).
