ATC/ATS signalling equipment of the Qinhuangdao – Shenyang Dedicated
Passenger Line (Qin-Shen) Commissioning: October 2003.
This project, carried out in only 2 years for the Chinese Ministry Of
Railways, refers to the supply and configuration of ATC/ATS on board and ground
signalling equipment of the first Dedicated Passenger line in China (length 380
km).
This project included the study, supply, installation and commissioning
of:
- integrated interlocking (SEI) and ATC (TVM 430),
- maintenance aid equipment,
- TVM 430 on board equipment with Chinese cab-display fully designed
under MOR specifications,
- support to installation, testing and commissioning.
The system provided by Ansaldo STS France has been designed around the
integrated interlocking system
SEI installed on the Mediterranean TGV
(LN05) and has been widely customized with Chinese operation rules, including
the control by a Chinese CTC.
Thanks to the flexibility of the
TVM/SEI and
TVM 430 on board
equipment, the line was the first line in China to upgrade smoothly from 200
km/h to 250 km/h in early 2007.
The Qin-Shen line took benefits of the experience accumulated by the TVM
systems in their various generations. The line now operates more than 70
passenger trains including 250 km/h passenger trains (EMU).
