Signalling and ATC Equipment in China

 
Signalling and ATC equipment for several conventional railway lines and technology transfer to BRSF (Beijing Railway Signalling Factory). This includes equipment over the following railway lines:
 
Beijing - Zhengzhou - Wuhan - Guangzhou line
Guangzhou - Shenzhen line
Beijing - Shanhaiguan - Shenyang line
Shuohuang line
 
As part of several contracts over the last twenty years, Ansaldo STS France has carried out:
 

• Studies of adaptation of the TVM 300 system on board with the track circuit UM71 on ground. This system was implemented in the earlier 90 years on the line Beijing-Wuhan.
• TVM 300 on board equipment and UM71 track circuit manufacturing technology transfer, at the BRSF factory, with training of personnel in maintenance and repairing equipment.
• Studies and adaptation of the track circuit UM71 to the UM71-98 with transmission ability up to 14,000 m.
• Upgrading of the lines equipped with UM71 to operate the MOR new standard CTCS2 which allows to reach the speed of 200 Km/h

 
More than 5000 km of double track are already equipped on these lines which cross China from North to South and ensure high safety and reliability of running operation.
