The Internal Control Committee is established by resolution of the Board of Directors of Ansaldo STS S.p.A.

It is composed of no less than three Directors and no more than half the members of the Board of Directors. All the members of the Committee are non executive and independent, and have professional training and experience suitable for carrying out the tasks of the Committee. At least one member of the committee has adequate experience in accounting and financial subjects to be assessed by the Board of Directors at the time of the nomination.

On 5 April 2011, the Shareholders Meeting of Ansaldo STS S.p.A. elected the new Board of Directors of the Company in office for the 2011 – 2013 financial years.  On the same date, the Board nominated as members of the Internal Control Committee the Directors Attilio Salvetti (President, Maurizio Cereda and Paola Girdinio.

The following Directors were part of the Committee of the Board of Directors until 5 April 2011: Maurizio Cereda (President), Gregorio Gitti, Eugenio Pinto and Attilio Salvetti.
