Milan Marathon 2018, Ansaldo STS will join the runners coming from all over Italy to share a day of sport, respect and support. Our company will sponsor the initiative (which will take place on the 8th of April), letting 40 runners (employers and relatives), to join marathon covering their registration fees (including an ATM ticket to facilitate the mobility of the participants throughout the city).

The four legs of the marathon will cover a path of about 42 kilometres. The first track will unite Corso Venezia and via Pagano for a total of 11 km, the following section connects via Pagano and via Caprilli (11.1 km), via Caprilli and via Croce will follow (7.4 km), and finally the last 12.7 km leg that will unite via Croce and Corso Venezia. Every handoff point is set near a M1 station (Red Line) in order to ease the movements of the runners. Through that iniative, our company will contribute directly to the success of the project ‘Un orto per coltivare passione’ supported by Dianova, an association which help youngsters and former addicted people.

The aim of the program is the promotion of the reintegration within the society of those who faced difficult situations through their lives and now are ready to get back on track. The project is just one of the seven modules of the ‘E dopo di noi…un ponte verso l’autonomia’ plan, chosen within the marathon Charity Program by Dianova.

The decision of sponsoring the marathon underlines once again, the great attention of Ansaldo STS for environmental and social issues, highlighting the desire of our company to promote recreational and responsible activities for the wellness of people.
